FAIRTRADE ORGANIC COFFEE

Fairtrade Organic Coffee – What is Fairtrade Organic Coffee?

What does Fairtrade Coffee mean?

Fairtrade certified coffee directly supports a better life for coffee farmers in developing countries through fair prices, community development and environmental stewardship. Fair trade coffee farmers market their own harvests through direct, long-term contracts with international buyers, learning how to manage their businesses and compete in the global marketplace.

Receiving a fair price for their harvest allows these farmers to invest in their families’ health care and education, reinvest in quality as well as protect the environment.[1]

Fairtrade and certified organic coffees are increasingly popular with customers looking to support industry in developing countries, whilst enjoying espresso of impeccable quality.

Our certified Fairtrade and organic coffees are farmed in Sumatra, Ethiopia and Honduras producing outstanding coffees, with flavours to suit every coffee lover’s dreams.

OUR FAIRTRADE COFFEES;

ORGANIC SUMATRA – 100% Organic. The character of organic coffee is defined by its unique terroir, like fine wine. So, the monsoons of tropical Sumatra provide the lush conditions that product a luscious coffee: it is rich and smooth with earthy hints of chocolate and liquorice.

ORGANIC ETHIOPIA SIDAMO – 100% Organic. The character of organic coffee is defined by its unique terroir, like fine wine. So, the hot, dry climate of Ethiopia’s Sidamo region yields a bright, balanced coffee that enlivens the senses with orange and cocoa flavours to the fore.

ORGANIC HONDURAS – 100% Organic. The character of organic coffee is defined by its unique terroir, like fine wine. So, the hot altitude Honduran plantations create a highly inviting coffee that’s mild and mellow with medium acidity, cocoa notes and a long, smooth finish.
